There real issue is not whether the Organon happens to be correct or not on any matter, but the difference between authority on the one hand and theory and evidence on the other. There is a danger that taking the Organon too seriously will simply give more credence to the idea that accepting an ancient authority is a valid way of understanding health, sickness and medical care. Which most homeopaths have not. Therefore, by their own logic, they should keep silent. Although this has probably been said in many other places, it would be worth while giving a bit of context - e.g. published 1810 before the molecular theory of matter (Avagadro, 1811) or the germ theory of disease (1860, Pasteur), or the theory of evolution by natural selection (Darwin, 1859). IMHO Hahnemann was quite a bright fellow, who used observation, deduction and extrapolation to come up with a theory which - at the time - was as good as any other. But it doesn't fit with mainstream medicine and should have died during the 19th century.
